First you indicate your preferences for the composition of the group – do you want to do something active, relaxed or cultural together? In which postcode(s) do the group’s members live? How old are the children in the group? Do you want to be in a group with other mothers, fathers or a mixed group? Do you prefer a group where the language is Danish or English?

Until you have joined a group, only you can see your replies.

Based on your answers, the algorithm finds a number of groups that match your preferences – you can see how many other members are in the group in the overview.

When you find a group you like, press ‘Join group’, fill in your profile information and then and there you are ready to interact and meet your new parent group.

This is because there are currently no groups that match your preferences. You can either expand your search with more zip codes, or you can start your own group (see above video guide).

If you have more children, add them under your profile. We recommend doing a separate search for each of your children if you want more groups.

Yes, you can join as many groups as you like. However, we encourage you to only be in 1-2 groups at a time, so that you can give the group the attention it deserves.

On the ‘Groups’ page, you can either view the suggested groups based on your current preferences, or click on the small plus sign in the right corner and select ‘Find group’ and fill in your preferences again.

We encourage you to search as broadly as possible and preferably in several zip codes – then the chance of finding a group match is greater.

Yes! On the ‘Groups’ page, click on the gear in the top right corner, then you can change your preferences and have the option of finding a group that matches your updated preferences.

Under ‘Profile’ you can also update your – and your child’s – personal information.

If your current group is not a match, we recommend leaving the group and finding a new one instead – and feel free to send a greeting to your current group before you leave, it ensures good heybuddies karma ♥️

No, you cannot kick a person out of your group. A member of a group must leave by him/herself.
